The 4 Ds
When there is a problem with our mental health, we often refer to it as a mental illness or mental problem. Mental health practitioners (psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and others) have agreed that mental illness should be defined by the extent to which it restricts us from carrying out our daily functions.
